A two day workshop that teaches you how to organise, manage and facilitate spiritual workshops, seminars and study groups.

Do you want to run your own workshop programme, perhaps in the healing arts, or as a spiritual teacher? Perhaps you already run a study group or workshop programme and want to learn new techqiues for generating interest and managing group dynamics in this intense setting? If so, this Masterclass is for you.

The Masterclass is a two day workshop to teach and empower you to set up, run and facilitate your own profitable and effective workshops or retreats. Conducted over two and half days, the workshop will give you the knowledge and practical skills to create a workshop programme of your own, build lasting relationships with your students, and create a lucrative second income. It is also the first stage towards a recognised qualification - Diploma in Spiritual Workshop Facilitation - which can be achieved after further work and assessment.

Chrissie has been running successful spiritual development and angel workshops for more than 12 years and is a gifted facilitator, with a degree in Comparative Religion and post-graduate qualifications in spiritual development, teaching and facilitation.

Co-presenter Richard Haywood, is an experienced marketing consultant who has been working with small businesses and sole traders for more than 11 years. He will offer advice, guidance and step-by-step plans to teach you how to promote and advertise your workshops effectively. The Spiritual Workshop Masterclass is designed to help you learn and practice the key skills you need to be a successful workshop facilitator yourself, and to organise and run events effectively and profitably.

Holistic practitioners, therapists, spiritual teachers, and those who want to develop their own teaching programmes, workshops, seminars or study groups. Also ideal for those who already run workshops or retreats but want to enhance their facilitation skills and learn new techniques for promotion and marketing.

What will you learn?

Over the course of the event you will learn:

• How to act as a group facilitator in a small group setting (ie workshops, seminars, study groups etc)

• Understanding spiritual energies and how they can affect groups

• Protecting yourself and others from negative energy

• Interpersonal skills for working with individuals and small groups

• Presentation and speaking skills with practice and review

• Exercises you can use for developing rapport, creating the right atmosphere, bringing people together, dealing with blocks and fears, etc

• Dealing with difficult situations and people

• Step by step plans for creating your first group event (workshop or study group)

• Planning and logistics for managing events

• Promotion and marketing strategies for your events

Certification and Accreditation

At the end of the event you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion – this is your first step towards attaining a Diploma in Spiritual Workshop Facilitation.

To complete the diploma you'll need to:

1. Have completed Chrissie's spiritual development home study course, Educating Heart & Soul, which will give you a thorough understanding of many aspects of spiritual development, faiths and beliefs. The course is a seven month programme, completed in your own time, with a final questionnaire. You can take the course at any time. For more information on the course click here.

2. Develop a workshop of your own, submitting details of the plan for the event, a summary of how it went and feedback from your students. This can be completed at any time after the masterclass.

3. Attend a final assessment weekend (dates for a weekend in Derry will be set and agreed with the group during the Masterclass). This will be charged at a nominal fee just to cover costs. Once these have been achieved, the Diploma will be issued, allowing you to run workshops accredited by Chrissie Astell and AngelLight.
